Cindy Woodall
Cindy Woodall, age 82, of League City, Texas died peacefully on September 14, 2025 following her Melanoma treatment journey. Her family is comforted by the belief that she is no longer ill and is reunited with her husband, parents, cousin, and dear friends who have passed away.
Born in September of 1943 in Kansas, Cindy was the daughter of Jacob and Nola Chapple, and sister of Jay Chapple. Raised in Kansas, it was not until adulthood when she relocated to Florida where she met her life partner of 49 years, Jim Woodall. Together they lived in Florida and California before settling and retiring in Texas. Cindy was a mother to Ed and Melissa; a stepmother to Tim, and a grandmother to Jacob, Josh, Calista, and Maia.
Cindy’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and dear friends. She had an extraordinary gift for nurturing thoughtful and lasting relationships with those around her. Devoted to her children and grandchildren, Cindy was always their number one fan for each activity, adventure, and life choice along the way.
Her years of volunteer work to teach children, care for animals, spread music, and help those in need made the world a brighter place. Cindy’s over 30 year membership of Welcome Neighbors and Brookwood Women’s Group provided lifelong friendships held so close to her heart.
A friend to many, Cindy listened well, laughed often, and always thought of others.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 3:30PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main, League City, TX 77573.
