Margaret Elaine Arney Morgan passed away in Houston, Texas on April 21, 2025 at the age of 90. She was born March 23, 1935 in Falls County, Texas to Lona Dee Dickey and Luther Frank Arney.

The family moved to Houston in 1948 where Elaine attended John H. Reagan High School, where she met her future husband Donald Morgan. They had five children, which kept her very busy, but Elaine always had time for friends and neighbors. She had a great smile and sense of humor which made people enjoy being around her. She was quite a seamstress and cook who could come up with some wonderful meals, even when money was tight which it often was. She had many interests including traveling, gardening, reading, and nature especially birds as well as keeping up with her many kids and grandkids she was so proud of.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Reed Darwin Arney.

She is survived by her children, Michael Morgan and wife Belinda, of League City, Wayne Morgan and wife Lynn of Austin, Rhonda Morgan of Wimberly, Holly Morgan of Austin, and Terri Morgan of Houston; 8 grandchildren: Angie Vegas, Chelsie Calhoun, Blake Morgan, Lindsey Morgan, Shelley Morgan, Brad Morgan, Kasey Vogelsburg, and Shane Garner; 14 great grandchildren: Koehl Morgan, Connor Morgan, Mia Morgan, Jacob Vegas, Joshua Vegas, Lane Vegas, Zachary Calhoun, Lyla Calhoun, Caleb Calhoun, Emerson Mosseau, Amalie Mosseau, Kyle Garner, Ryker Garner, and Avarie Cauthen. Alsol, her sisters Linda Werner and Barbara Arnett and Husband John.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 4:00pm with a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 4:30pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main St. League City, Texas 77573 with Reverend Bill Cole presiding. A Dinner Reception will follow.
