Ty Dale Cannon

Ty Dale Cannon, 22, of Clear Lake, passed away on May 10, 2018, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.  Ty, the son of Larry Dale and Jennifer (Thomas) Cannon, was born on May 10, 1996 in Florence, South Carolina.  He attended Clear Lake High School and was employed by Gibson Energy Services.  Ty loved fishing, hunting, and country music; but, more than anything, he loved spending time with family and friends.  His smile, his humor and his big personality will be missed by those who loved him.

Ty is survived by his parents, Larry Dale and Jennifer Cannon of Clear Lake; his brother, Jonathan, and his sister, Ann Mairee, both of Clear Lake; his maternal grandparents, Patricia and Lonnie Burchell, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Mike Thomas, of Charleston, South Carolina; his paternal grandparents, Dave and Sharon Fenters, of Kingstree, South Carolina; aunts and uncles, Suzanne and Chris Arnau, of Kingstree, South Carolina, Priscilla Thomas of Charleston, South Carolina, Michael Thomas of Charleston, South Carolina, and Cliff and Laurie Cox of Lake Greenwood, South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Kayla and Kamille Arnau and Athena Thomas, and many other loving family members in Texas, Mississippi and South Carolina.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 4:00 at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas 77573.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

    Please accept my sincerest condolence on Ty’s passing. Ty was assigned to the facility I work on. While he was not one of my co-workers, he was a member of my crew. I really liked and respected this “kid.” His absence is felt at work this week. We will honor his memory and know that he was one of the good ones; a person of character and a valued workmate.
