  1. I’m so sorry for the loss of your loved one. My heart goes out to you. When going through the loss of my father, a scripture that brought me comfort is Isaiah 41:10. There God implores us to not be anxious because he is with us and lovingly assures us ” I will really hold on to you with my right hand.” May the God of all comfort be with you at this difficult time. ( 2 Cor. 1:3,4 )

  2. I will miss Stan. He was a great guy. He was a great husband to Nancy and always talked about his dogs and loved hunting with Ryan. He now has the best seat to watch the Oregon Ducks play.

  3. My prayers are with your family in this difficult time. I had the privilege of working with Stan for many years at JSC. He was always a joy to work with over those years, and even today I have a interface box I designed and Stan built on top of my credenza that reminds me of him every time I look at it.

  4. I bid a sad but fond farewell to a fellow Michigander, who from the beginning of my time at JSC was a steady, friendly coworker with a bottomless sense of humor. He was a valued member of the Engineering crew, and his meticulous workmanship shown through in the many custom devices he fabricated for my projects over the years. His memory will always bring a smile to my face.

  8. My sincere condolences to the whole family on the loss of a very fine husband and father and a friend and co-worker to so many at the Johnson Space Center. Stan always had time to take care of any special request and go the extra mile in crafting a device or a cable or just listening to our ideas. It was a pleasure to know him and he introduced me to his son Ryan who worked for our shop in Kemah and was so much like Stan in the care he took in doing things right, the first time. May God hold your family close at this time and give you clarity of thought, happiness in your memories and a strong faith to face the future.

  16. I just learned the sad news of Stan’s passing from Randy Ross. Stan was a great guy and always helpful to me when we worked together at JSC. People would sometimes ask Stan to fabricate some bizarre cable or electronic device and he’d just go away and make it without further ado. He was a genuine craftsman – you could see it in his work and his dedication to getting things right. Rest in peace sir. I was my privilege to have known you and enjoyed your friendship.

  17. I had just learned of Stan’s passing. He was always such a friendly guy that loved talking about his dogs, his family and hunting. I hadn’t seen him in months but I had thought the dogs had passed away. He was the kind of colleague, and neighbor that made life better. Stan will be missed…
