Louis Samuel Munson
Louis Samuel Munson, 67, resident of Dickinson, Texas passed from this life, Wednesday, May 16, 2018. He was born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania to proud parents, Samuel & May Munson on January 27, 1951.
Louis spent his Electrical Engineering career at NASA. He was a member of Texas Avenue Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his nephew Matthew Bolton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, three nieces Samantha McGelch, Gina Phillips, and Gloria Davies; one nephew, Jack Bolton II, as well as numerous colleagues and friends.
In his honor, a visitation will be held Thursday, May 24, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 25, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Dickinson, Texas.
My cousin Louis was a nice person. As
children, I remember Louis said he
wanted to play professional baseball when he
got older. Sadly, Louis faced much sadness
& challenges in his teenage years with
the unexpected death of his brother in a
“freak” accident. Years later- his older sister &
parents died. I believe Louis was a genuine
Christian who loved the Lord. May Louis be
at peace and with our dear Lord in heaven.
