James F. Plite
“Jim” was born February 1, 1933 to Herbert and Marie Plite in Sand Lake, MI. He passed away on November 15, 2017. Jim grew up a farm boy, enlisted in the US Army at the age of 17, and served in Japan. He married Jane Afton in 1956 and became a Designer Engineer. Hobbies he enjoyed were restoring Mustangs, racing, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marvin. He is survived by his loving wife Jane; his children Debra Morgan, Dan, wife Cathy; and David, wife Nancy; his grandchildren Jesse, wife Lindsey; Beau, wife Jennifer; Billy, wife Lauren; and Danny, wife Dawn; his great-grandchildren Breckyn, Jordyn, Dalton, and Lilly; his sisters Pat McNamara and Ruth Chase; and his brother, Eugene Plite. There will be a private service at a later date.
