Genevieve L. Blair, 87, of League City, TX passed away August 09, 2018 in Rosharon, TX with her family by her side.  Mrs. Blair was born March 04, 1931 in Pauls Valley, OK.  Genevieve was of the Methodist Faith and was a Professor at several Universities during her thirty year career as an educator.  Mrs. Blair has been a twenty year resident of League City, TX, where she served ten years with Clear Lake ISD.

Mrs. Blair is preceded in death by her husband Jack L. Blair; parents Clifford and Odell Laurence; sisters Louise Nance and Lavinia “Toots” McAdams; brothers Bud Laurence and Don Laurence.

Genevieve is survived by her daughter Jana Ringhiser and husband Dennison Ringhiser; sons John Blair and wife Sandie Blair and Jason Blair; grandchildren Beau Becthold and wife Amanda Becthold, Vincent Dever, Sr. and wife Julie Dever, Emiliano Garcia and wife Enid Garcia, Joe Jimenez and wife Martha Jimenez, Angel Gonzalez and wife Jessica Gonzalez, Albert Gonzalez and wife Trish Gonzalez, Jose Buck, Christie Jimenez and husband Daniel Amador, Crystal Jimenez and husband Eric Ventura, Vickie Jimenez and Victor Jimenez.

There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday August 16, 2018 at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 East Broadway Street Pearland, TX, 77581.  On Friday August 17, 2018 family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland, TX, with a service to begin at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Michael Gomez officiating. Burial will follow at Houston National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Beau Becthold, Vincent Dever, Sr., Emilliano Garcia, Joe Jimenez, Vincent Dever Jr., and Daniel Amador.
