Concepcion Castro
Concepcion Castro, 89, of Santa Fe passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 in Webster, Texas. She was born on May 13, 1927 in Olancho, Honduras to Ramon Escobar and Petronila Castro.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City.
Concepcion is survived by her daughters; Blanca Gonzalez of Texas City, Nora Martinez of League City, Nolvia Pagoaga of League City and Delcy Castro of Webster; her sons Ismael Castro of Houston and Ramon D. Castro, Sr. of Santa Fe; twenty-three grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm with a rosary at 7:00pm with Deacon John Carrillo at the Crowder Funeral Home in La Marque.
Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 1:00pm at St. Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City with Deacon John Carrillo officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Ramon Castro, Jr. Danilo Castro, Alexi Martinez, Robert Martinez, Jessie Martinez and Nicki Pagoaga.
