  1. we will be with the Lord forever.

    1 Thessalonians 4:17

There is no way to understand another person’s grief, or how they find the strength to carry on in the face of such overwhelming sadness. Our prayers are with you, and with Vickie, secure in the knowledge that she has found Paradise, and that, eventually, your tears will be turned into gladness as you meet her anew.

    So sorry for your pain.

  5. Vickie was such an inspiration to me. The Wood family were neighbors on our street for many years. I loved visiting her home. She kept it so lovely – she loved to decorate – and there was always something delicious cooking. Vickie was a devoted mother and grandmother. We had many talks about raising our children and her grandchildren. I’m so blessed to have seen her in Kroger twice over the last few weeks. We laughed and cried and caught up on old times. Vickie had a deep Christian faith and was so real. Not a fair weather friend. I will miss her so very much. Rest with the angels sweet lady. No more pain. God bless you and your family.
